Theatrical Work
I’ve always loved the way music can tell a story, whether that’s exploring an emotion, a theme, a place, or a literal story. Over the past few years this had led me to fall in love with musical theatre. There’s something incredibly exciting about writing music that doesn’t just stand on its own, but helps a character speak, moves a story forward, or brings a moment onstage to life.
My journey into musical theatre began with The Spirit of Freedom Pageant, an original outdoor musical theatre production in Manti, Utah. Since 2024, I have worked as the pageant’s score composer, song arranger, and orchestrator. In 2026, I had the opportunity to direct its debut production as well, bringing together the music, performers, designers, and production team to bring the show to the stage.
I now serve as President of the Spirit of Freedom Council and as Director for the 2027 production. Working on The Spirit of Freedom has given me the opportunity to grow not only as a composer and orchestrator, but as a storyteller and theatre-maker.
