Pedagogical Jazz Works

I have a passion for writing pedagogical music, aimed at providing younger musicians with serious, exciting, and new music just like professionals play. Most new pedagogical music is written for orchestras, wind bands, or small ensembles. One ensemble that many schools have that don't have the opportunity to play the same amount of new compositions are big bands, or jazz ensembles, and I believe that students who want to learn to play jazz charts should have the same opportunities to play new music that orchestral students have.
